Ottogi Bikkal Goun Yungi En Yetnal Mulyeot is malt syrup used in braising, seasoning and grilling to add a hint of sweetness and shiny glaze. Unlike regular corn syrup, it is clear in color. You can keep the original color of your dish and make it look more appetizing. Mulyeot is also used in making cookies or snacks such as hangwa (Korean traditional cookie) and matang (glazed sweet potato). It hardens the ingredients together. After hardening, though, it still produces a soft, creamy texture.
